"Lyme Borreliosis 2019" is the fifth conference on this subject held in Olomouc. It will be an international meeting, with the accent on clinical, etiological and immunological aspects of Lyme borreliosis. Subjects of "post treatment syndrome", recurrent borrelia infections, pathogenic effect of unusual morphological forms of the microorganism and the general view of the ethiopathogenetic connection between an autoimmune disease and the infection as a potential initiator in pre-disposed individuals will also be discussed.
Among our special guests will be, for example, Dr. Eugene Shapiro from Yale Univeristy, Dr. John Nathanial Aucott from Johns Hopkins Lyme Disease Clinical Research Center and others.
The education event is organized under the Professional Regulation of the Czech Medical Chamber No. 16. The Conference is organized with a financial contribution of the Research, Development, Education Operational Program mediated by the Centre for Recombinant Biotechnologies and Immunotherapeutics project, Reg. No.: CZ.02.1.01/0.0/0.0/16_025/0007397
