Building reconstruction of the Czech National e-Health center
Czech National e-Health Center is preparing the project which would help to do the reconstruction of the old building where is the Allergology and immunology clinic.
The existing infrastructure of the Czech National e-Health Center (NTMC) is insufficient both for research and also for project activities where is the NTMC engaged now. Particular engineering solutions are insufficient but technical part is needed for excellent research and its important to innovate them. For these reasons it implies the need of reconstruction of existing layout design in the University Hospital complex. Czech National e-Helath Center is the part of pavilion F, which is consists of parts F1 and F2.
The Existing building is occupied by the Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and also Czech National e-Health Center. Reconstruction and completion responds to the needs of individual telemedicine research areas that could not be realized without good hinterland. The aim of the reconstruction is the connection between university hospital existing infrastruction and NTMC. New center will be focused on excellent research in the field of telemedicine, data collection and will serve for the entire backround of the project.
On terrain level, the building is linked to the park by a tiered platform with garden features. With the completion of one floor, Building F2 is levelled with building F1, and a glassed single-floor extension has been added to both buildings, which gives the main building mass a lighter effect at its end.
A vertical passage point with an elevator and a connecting corridor from building D1 has been proposed on the southeastern facade. Modifications to the park include the maintaining of the network of paths, with a reconstruction of the path surfaces. A relaxation zone with benches is planned for the area where the current playing field stands, and will form an extension of the park and will be an area where the public, patients and medical students can spend some time and relax.
